In some cases, friends may not tell about an engagement if the couple has requested that the news be kept private for a certain period of time. Additionally, some friends may choose not to share the news out of respect for the couple's desire to announce it themselves. However, in many cases, friends are excited to share in the joy of their friend's engagement and will happily spread the news. Ultimately, it depends on the couple's wishes and the dynamics of their friendships. **

Followers do not necessarily count as friends. While followers may show interest in your content or activities, they may not have a personal connection with you or engage with you on a deeper level like friends would. Friends typically involve a mutual relationship where there is emotional support, trust, and shared experiences, which may not always be present with followers. It is important to differentiate between followers and friends to maintain genuine and meaningful relationships. **

There could be a variety of reasons why your friends may not be accepting of your engagement. It's possible that they have concerns about the relationship or the timing of the engagement. They may also feel like they are losing you to your partner and are struggling to adjust to the changes in your dynamic. It's important to have an open and honest conversation with your friends to understand their perspective and address any concerns they may have. Communication and understanding can help bridge the gap and strengthen your relationships. **
